Canada's latest Express Entry draw invites 3,300 Canadian Experience Class candidates with a minimum CRS score of 507. Stay updated on Express Entry results.

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recently conducted its second Express Entry draw of the week, inviting 3,300 Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates to apply for permanent residency. To qualify, candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 507.
This draw followed closely on the heels of another that took place the previous day, where 1,121 candidates were invited in a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw. The required CRS score for that draw was 694.
Earlier in August, between the 13th and 15th, multiple Express Entry draws were held. On August 15, a category-based selection targeted candidates with French language proficiency. On August 13, 763 candidates were invited in a PNP-only draw, requiring a minimum score of 690. The following day, on August 14, 3,200 Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates were invited with a minimum score of 509.
IRCC has been holding multiple draws every other week, with a significant increase in PNP and CEC draws in recent months. This aligns with the department’s strategy to prioritize domestic draws and manage the number of temporary residents while working towards the targets set in the Immigration Levels Plan for 2024-2026.
IRCC aims to welcome 110,770 newcomers through Express Entry in 2024 and 117,500 in 2025. Candidates who receive Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in the latter half of the year are more likely to contribute to meeting the 2025 target, as IRCC typically processes Express Entry applications within six months.
