Education Requirements:
Education Credential Documents:
- Post-secondary degrees, diplomas, and certificates from Alberta.
- Transcripts demonstrating that your education is related to your current occupation and work experience.
- An official document from your institution proving your enrollment date if transcripts do not include this information.
Experience Requirements:
Work Experience in the Same Field as Education:
- At least 6 months of full-time work experience in your current occupation in Alberta within the last 18 months.
- Work experience must be directly related to your field of study in Alberta.
Employment Reference Letters:
Reference letters must include:
- Job title
- Salary
- Period of employment (start and end dates)
- Hours of work per week
- Main job duties performed daily
- Required education, skills, and knowledge
- Employer contact information, including business email address
- Signature of a manager or supervisor from the company
Pay Statements:
- Statements of Earnings for each pay period for up to the past 3 months.
- Statements must list the pay period, hourly rate, number of hours worked, deductions, and any taxable benefits.
Alberta Job Offer and Employment Contract:
Alberta job offer or employment contract on company letterhead.
The job offer/contract must include:
- Salary/wage
- Duration of employment
- Working conditions (hours of work per week)
- Job duties
- Signature by both you and your Alberta employer
- Employer contact information
English Language Requirements:
Language Assessment:
Valid language assessment result from one of the following tests:
- CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program) General Test
- IELTS (International English Language Testing System) General Training Test
- TEF Canada (Test d’évaluation de français Canada)
- TCF Canada (Test de connaissance du français Canada)
Test results must meet the minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (Tier-0,1,2,3 - CLB-5), (Tier 4,5 CLB-4)(Tier-7 for Nursing) in each language skill (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
Passport Requirements:
Valid Passport:
- Personal information page showing your photograph and personal details.
- Pages showing the expiry and renewal dates of your passport(s).
Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) Requirements:
PGWP Document:
- Copy of your current Alberta work permit.
- Copies of all past Canadian work permits (if applicable).
