Canada PR in 2025: Express Entry Draw Analysis & Future Predictions

After a January that saw Express Entry draws return to some semblance of normalcy, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has already held two draws in February.

Summary of January Express Entry Draws

In January, 5,821 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued to candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) and enhanced Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs). This marked a significant increase compared to December, which had only three draws. Notably, no French-language proficiency draws were held in January—the first time since June 2024 that IRCC deviated from this pattern.
