Enhanced Caregiver Pilot Programs

Overview:
These enhanced programs are set to replace the successful Home Child Care Provider Pilot and Home Support Worker Pilot that concluded in June 2024. Unlike their predecessors, the new pilots grant permanent residency (PR) immediately upon arrival for eligible home care workers.

Key Features:

  • Work opportunities with organizations providing temporary or part-time care for semi-independent individuals or those recovering from injuries or illnesses.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Canadian Language Benchmark Level 4 proficiency
  • Canadian high school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant and recent work experience
  • A full-time job offer in home care

Rural Community Immigration Pilot
