British Columbia and Manitoba conducted draws for their Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP), inviting candidates to apply. All provinces and territories, except Quebec, utilize PNPs to select economic immigration candidates who are likely to integrate seamlessly into the provincial workforce.

The PNP is a collaborative effort between federal and provincial governments, allowing provinces to nominate candidates for immigration. Those who receive a provincial nomination are better positioned to apply for permanent residence with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Quebec operates under a separate agreement with the federal government, granting it autonomy over the selection of its economic immigrants. Instead of using a PNP, Quebec invites candidates to apply for a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ).
